Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Brittany Coursen joined Hayfield Animal Hospital in 2021. She grew up in beautiful Virginia Beach and recently moved to Springfield, VA, after accepting a job at Hayfield. She graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then attended the University of Tennessee, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. She takes a special interest in feline medicine but also enjoys seeing her canine patients. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, going to the movies, and trying new food places. She has two cats of her own, Hazelnut and Leonidas, whom she loves spending quality time with!
